Mark Hofstad’s career in the mortgage and lending industry began back in 1998, when he was involved in the start-up and development of Tradition Mortgage. In November of 2000, Mark founded Hawthorne Mortgage, which he owned and operated for over a decade. Integrity and professionalism were hallmarks of Hawthorne Mortgage, earning Mark a strong client base and referral network in the lending community. In September of 2011, Mark returned to Tradition Mortgage as a Senior Mortgage Consultant where he has continued to place ethical service at the center of his work with both clients and partners.
Mark enjoys time with his wife, Kristin, and their four boys, Blake, Gage, Henry, and Mikal. His favorite thing to do is travel with his family, whether it be visiting a different country, or simply spending time up north at the lake. On the weekends, you can find Mark on his motorcycle or working on projects around the house.
