Dylan Niska is a Vice President and Partner at Tradition Mortgage. This St. Olaf graduate has been with the company since December of 1998 and has become a great mentor for both current and new employees in the company. Here are a few questions we asked Dylan to get to know him better.

… helping people buy a new house brings them so much excitement and I love being a part of making that happen.
How would you describe yourself in ONE WORD?
DEDICATED. I am committed to my job and clients 7 days a week. Whether it is days, nights or weekends, I make myself available for anything that comes my way.
When you retire, what would you like to do?
When I retire from the mortgage business, I want to be an usher at the Xcel Energy Center or Target Field. I’m a huge sports fan! Getting paid to watch games and concerts doesn’t seem like a bad gig!
What is your favorite joke, quote or memorable saying?
When playing sports growing up, my dad always told me, “Girlfriends ruin athletes.”
If you could have lunch with THREE people (real/fake/dead/alive/etc.), who would you pick? Why?
Narrowing down the list to only THREE people is difficult! But If I had to pick today, it would be:
HARVEY MACKEY – I could gain so much knowledge from him on how to be a better salesman.
BARACK OBAMA – Regardless of political views, it would be amazing to meet a sitting President.
MARK CUBAN – Such a great entrepreneur with the same passion for sports as I do.
